Life GroupsLife Groups are small groups of people who take care of the needs of the group members, support the congregation's mission and reach out to others beyond the group and the congregation. Life Groups effectively address four basic needs of the people of God:
Our Life Group
In addition to these scheduled groups, some Life Groups meet on an on-going basis. We will help you connect with a group or start a new Life Group. It's easy: gather a few friends, share some simple refreshments, covenant to encourage and pray for each other and grow together in learning more about God and God's Word. That's all there is to it! We can help you with study resources.
So start a Life Group or join one already meeting. Click your interest, complete the form and click "send form" below. We'll take it from there and get you connected to others.
Via de Cristo Reunion Groups
Another type of Life Group at St. Andrews is the Via de Cristo reunion group. Via de Cristo is a Spanish phrase meaning "Way of Christ." Via de Cristo (VDC) is a highly structured three day weekend designed to strengthen and renew the faith of Christian people and bring them to a new awareness of living in God's grace. It is a combined effort of lay people and clergy toward renewal of the church.
Many people of St. Andrews have "made" a VDC weekend and have begun to meet in groups that come together after the weekend in reunion groups. Reunion groups are small groups of men or women who meet regularly to study, pray, share and help one another in their quest for spiritual development.
Looking for a VdC reunion group? Email us. Sonbeam Via de Cristo is the local organization that implements weekend retreats each year for men and women. For more information about Life Groups,
