Compassion Ministries

No one should have to suffer alone because caring is at the heart of Christian ministry.  Just like God came to humanity in person in our time of need, so we too come to others in person in their time of need.  If that is you or someone you love, we have several ministries that do this.

Matthew Ministry
The purpose of this ministry, with our Lord’s leading, will reach out through visitation bringing friendship, encouragement, and spiritual strength to the sick, disabled and aged members of St Andrews Church Family.

Ministry Leader: Lisa Goodrich, Deacon

Stephen Ministry
The Stephen Ministry offers one-to-one Christian care to individuals facing life challenges or difficulties. Stephen Ministers are caring Christian friends from St. Andrews who listen,  understand, accept, and pray for those who are working through troubling times. They are not counselors; they are lay caregivers. They provide support and are trained to recognize when a individual’s needs exceed what they can provide so they can help them receive the level of care they need.  They are also a part of a nationwide organization of trained caregivers.

Ministry Leader:  Janet Calve
