Why We Exist
Nothing matters more to us than helping others know and more deeply follow the way of Jesus. We exist to make new and mature followers of Jesus. In that order. First new and then mature followers. We summarize our mission like this:
Making Ordinary People
Extraordinary Followers of Jesus Christ
To accomplish that mission, we think God asks us to live out a balance of the following parts of authentic Christian faith. We strive to live this as a community and call our people to find the same balance individually.
WORSHIP
We exist to maintain divine worship in order to show our love for God.
FELLOWSHIP
We exist to shelter and nurture one another as friends in faith.
DISCIPLESHIP
We exist to preserve the truth through balanced disciple-making ministries.
MINISTRY
We exist to exhibit “kingdom living” through our love, service and care for people.
OUTREACH
We exist to preach the gospel in order to bring salvation to those around us and to promote social righteousness in this world.
