Visitor Hospitality MinistryComing to visit a church can be intimidating. For many, it feels like walking into stranger's home. Some people are shy and wonder if they will be singled out or asked to do something in front of others. Others are feeling guilty and think the walls will fall in if they walk into a church. Still others wonder if people will be cliquish and ignore visitors.
With that in mind, we have developed a ministry to make sure visitors have a good experience with St. Andrews. We want your experience to be positive, so we have also made some basic commitments to our guests in worship.
The Welcome Center
As you walk through the doors of the Worship Center you will find the Soul Cafe and the Welcome Center. The Soul Cafe is a place to get a cup of coffee and something to eat as you visit. The Welcome Center is a place where you can get information as well as received a free gift bag just with goodies for first-time visitors (including a $10 gift card to Dunkin Donuts). It is our way of saying you are important to God and to us.
Checking in After You Visit
Shortly after you first let us know you visited, you will receive information from us as well as another goodie bag. If there is anything we can do to make your experience at St. Andrews better, visitors can let us know at any time. In short, we want you to feel welcome here because you are!
