Serving in the Kitchen

For those who love to work in the kitchen, serve the Lord by serving in the kitchen.  We have a commercial grade, restaurant quality kitchen that is a fully licensed by the health department.  Our kitchen volunteers are trained to comply with strict county guidelines for safe food handling, service and clean-up.  And best of all, it's a lot of fun to serve here!  Please check the boxes below to select where you wish to serve then click "send form" below.

Help with a memorial service reception:  Your time might be spent at home making a type of finger food for the reception following a memorial service.  It might also include serving and cleaning up after the meal.

Help with one our special events.  This might include selling tickets for the event, distributing event flyers before and after worship, helping to set up tables, chairs and serving areas, working in the kitchen for the event or taking down and storing tables and chairs.  Most evening special events last two to three hours; afternoon events may last four to five hours.
Assist with any hospitality activity.  This is primarily working on a team to provide a meal for another commission activity such as Advent Anticipation, when we decorate the church for the Christmas season and would require approximately two and a half hours per meal per event.
Dining room decorator. This job means changing the table cloths and flowers and putting out other seasonal decorations four or five times a year.
