When life is hard, there is a group of trained leaders in the church who are ready, willing and able to journey with you. These leaders have gone through training in grief, loss, confidentiality, referral to professionals, and others all for you. They can journey with you if you are experiencing

Death of a loved one
Broken family, friend or romantic relationships
Loneliness
Despair

Their main job is to love you with the love of Christ through these times. The professional counseling they leave to others. These leaders listen, pray, affirm, encourage, challenge and love.

The name of the ministry of these caregivers is Stephen Ministry. The caregivers are called Stephen Ministers.
